In our adventure travels, we discovered delightful Dunedin, Florida... friendly, uncrowded and tranquil, surrounded by the beautiful azure waters of the Gulf Coast.

Located in the Tampa Bay area — west of Tampa, our exotic small town is nestled between Clearwater and Tarpon Springs.

With more than 100 privately owned shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, boutiques, art galleries, antique stores, and more, our quaint city of 35,000 has the charm of a small town and the amenities of our larger city neighbors.

Edgewater Marina...
Several hotels, and bed & breakfasts,

are within easy walking distance of downtown, which hosts numerous arts and crafts festivals, parades, concerts, farmers markets, and other events every year.

Dunedin's Famous Causeway...
Gentle Gulf breezes waft peacefully as we walk briskly on the Dunedin Causeway. Calm blue/green water stretches on both sides, with fishing Dophins, diving Pelicans, and hundreds of seagulls.

Along the Causeway toward Honeymoon Island, within the protected waters of St. Joseph Sound, you'll find all the sun and fun activities - windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, or just relaxing and listening to the surf.

Bikers (bicycles) and skaters (roller-blading) also take advantage of the gorgeous flowers and majestic scenery here on the Causeway.
Honeymoon Island & the Caladesi Connection (ferry ride)
with Florida's best two romantic vacation beaches are just a short drive from downtown across the Causeway.

Caladesi Island's gorgeous white sandy beach

is located on one of the few completely natural islands along Florida´s Sun Coast.

This State Park's powdery white beach, accessible to the public by ferry from Honeymoon Island or by private boat, has consistently been named one of Florida’s top ten beaches. In 2008 Caladesi Island took the coveted #1 spot for the best beach in America.

The Pinellas Trail...
Shape up the Easy Way. You can walk, bike, or skate up the Pinellas Trail to the Dunedin Causeway and out to the beaches. The 37-mile (from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs) Pinellas Trail runs right through downtown Dunedin and is a great way for everyone , families, couples, pet-owners, and adventurers to have fun and get exercise too.

Golf for Everyone...

Right next to the Pinellas Trail and Dunedin Causeway, St. Andrews Golf Links Course and Driving Range provide convenient and economical golfing.

"Home-Base", the SUN COAST...

Discovering Dunedin opened new adventures in our travels. We returned again and again to this quaint small town on the Gulf, with its Scottish heritage and picturesque architecture. We loved Dunedin and the surrounding areas so much that we now live here. The beautiful Sun Coast is our home base for exotic adventure travel and vacations.

Carolyn, my wife, and I love the adventure of traveling to exciting, romantic destinations, re-visiting many wonderful places, then sharing our happy and fun experiences.
