Nature Trail

Climbing on a rickety old bus with the "locals", we drove through the town of St. George's and over the Old Fort Road to Morne Gazo. We walked through an intact tropical, semi-deciduous rain forest--the only area of this type of forest remaining in the country. It serves as a watershed area and source of medicines, wildlife and recreation. From the summit there is a look-out platform with almost a 360° view.

Beach Swim

We crossed the island to the famous Grand Anse Beach, discovered and frequented by Hollywood celebrities over the years.

All visitors are welcomed with a complimentary rum punch or local beer or soft drink and may spend up to one hour on the beach. Changing facilities are available for those wishing to swim in the clear azure waters... which we Did! Other Caribbean Adventures
