Florida's Panhandle, Gulf Coast & Everglades Adventures
Our Florida Panhandle and Gulf Coast travel adventures take us from Pensacola, Destin, and Panama City , along the Gulf to "Alligator Alley" and the exotic Everglades!
Panama City...
Panama City perches on the sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico midway between Pensacola and Tallahassee. Capitalizing on natural resources of sunshine, surf and sugar-white sand beaches, we found Panama City to be a wonderful destination.
It's great for travelers who enjoy water sports, beachcombers or those who want to simply relax and daydream to the music of lapping waves and sea breezes through southern pines.
Fernandina Beach Adventures...
Early on, the community of Fernandina Beach emerged as an important seaport, a legacy that today can be seen throughout its Victorian-era architecture and charming historic district.
Today, Amelia Island is home to Florida’s oldest continuously operating bar, the Palace Saloon, located within a sprawling 50-block area of homes and buildings on the National Register of Historic Places.
History enthusiasts will also have to visit Old Town, the last Spanish Town in the Western Hemisphere and the former Spanish Fort San Carlos.
Venturing Further South, we discover the wonders of...
- Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, and Clearwater;
- Naples; and
- The Exotic Everglades.
