Leaving Las Vegas from our home in Summerlin, our adventure travel takes us through Henderson and Boulder City, to Lake Mead, across the Hoover dam, to Williams (jumping off place to the Grand Canyon) and on to Flagstaff, AZ.

  • High Desert - Mystical Vortexes...
Hwy 89 leads us south through the cool shade along the babbling stream of Oak Creek Canyon to one of our favorite adventure vacation destinations - mystic Sedona.


Oak Creek flows though this small town which lies 4200 feet above sea level. Surrounded by beautiful red rock, mystical vortexes and knarled forests, it is an artist's haven.

We love to staying at the Sky Ranch Lodge... right in the middle of town, with all the artitst shops. We have watched authentic American Indian Pow Wows from our balcony.
